This is tragic  crrrry kay Doc Manalo pala yan eh diba Vet sya bakit di nya nagamot yon dog?

kenjie, alam mo na, it's one of those....very political issues.  whatdoyouthink  yup vet siya

I've heard some and read in the forums specifically during manlolokok9 and other issues,  dispute with others in the forums tapos ito na naman. Vet sya tapos namatay sa custody nya yon aso ng ganon ganon na lng. Dapat full refund yon pera at bayaran yon nawala dog. Its so unfortunate na nga na namatay sa custody nila yon dog. For us na we treat our dog na member ng family dapat mabigyan ng justice yan pagkawala ng dog at ang masama pa they ask for other dog to be trained tapos puro galis sayang lng yon "SUPERDOG SOAP" nila di pala effective.

If your boarding your dogs pinapipirma lang ba ng waiver yun? na pag nangyari na ganun accident hindi sila accountable?

I'm still trying to find out... kakagising ko lang eh  Grin Grin Grin

Here is some additional info I got from her:

According to animal welfare and republic act 8485, Manalo wasnt able to secure a permit as dog trainer and sanitary permit facilities. He has an application kaso pending daw due to poor odorly premises. According to the folks at BAI, my dog got sickness from too many flies - langaw. They are virus carriers, that's why Jack got sick and died.

Tas my vet just passed by... he treated the JRT for fungal infection. Based on what he can remember, a formal complaint with the police has already been made.

Hopefully the case would prosper.... Or better yet report it to the media to at least have some assitance like Bayan Patrol of ABS or IMBESTIGADOR Of GMA.

Most boarding homes I know, although reasonable care is a given, will not accept responsibility if a dog will get sick while boarding because such facilities may be easily contaminated - this condition is usually conveyed to the owner before boarding.

This is really sad. This is one of the reasons why I personally don't subscribe to the idea of boarding-training either.
There's only one facility in Manila where I would choose to board and train my dog. But as for training him, I'd still much rather do it myself under the guidance of a qualified/certified trainer.

I've even heard of a facility run by a celebrity "trainer" that offers such a service - but which also discourages the owner from visiting the dog while it's being trained. I can only imagine what methods thay use (if the methods were sound why isn't the owner allowed to see it?). One of my friends actually told me that she gave that trainer a call to inquire about his training service but wisely chose not to board-train her dog there after hearing that visits were discouraged.

@lipstick001 - I hope your friend's story gets some media exposure. It may be too late for her dog but it can at least prevent such a terrible incident from happening to another dog.

This is just one of the reasons why I DO NOT BELIEVE IN BOARDING YOUR DOG FOR TRAINING. I am totally against it. You just don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

Personally, I would sue the bastard for negligence. But if the legal system will not work, well, there are other options...   gun

i like the "other options" more efficient and less expenses =)

they should at least return the money imo

----------------

i was also thinking about getting my dog trained, pero i chose not to board my dog..mas maganda kasi u can see what the trainer is doing to your dog and mas maganda if u can take part with the training, mga ibang dogs kasi pag sa trainer nasunod pero pag amo na may hawak ayaw na sumunod...
