I'm not into cockfighting but my father is. So, I can understand a bit about them.

I particularly like your yellow legged lemon sweater. Before, my father also had a hiraw color broodcock. He infused a grey hatch (i think it was a democrat i'm not sure though) with a bonanza black and inbred it.

Anyway, more than a year now he let go of his 50-75 battle crosses to his uncle's farm in Tarlac. But as they say it, "once a sabungero, always a sabungero". So he kept at least two brood cocks and some brood hens here in our backyard.

In his brood stocks, my father is using the natural hatching method, but still there are more fatalities when inbreeding. I guess that's what you compromise in inbreeding, their health.

Ako rin sir I'm not into cockfighting, what I love is the breeding aspect so I like to call my self as a breeder. Isa ito sa mga love ko besides our four legged friend...

Great pictures!! I love mga manoks also!! Kaso  can't keep them anymore. I remember when i was still a kid, papapbili ako sa yaya ko ng manok tapos gusto ko lang nakikita silang nakawala sa yard namin. I also remember na every afternoon papakainin ako ng yaya ko ng hard boiled egg na she claims na itlog ng manok ko para kainin ko. Iniisip ko naman while eating it, bakit kaya niya kinukuha yung itlog at niluluto? e puwede naman gawing chick. Oh, well...yun yung maliit pa ako. nauto ako ng yaya ko. I remember also na may dad would take me to our kapitbahay na sabungero tapos bibili niya ako ng manok dun kapag mabait ako the whole week. I don't remember those fighting cocks living a long life kasi halos every week pumupunta kami dun para bumile ng replacement para dun sa natepok. hahaha. Tapos when we were living at our Dasma home, I snuck a fighting rooster and hen sa bahay namin. E bawal sa village namin may manok kasi nagco-complain mga neighbors, so kinulong ko yung dalawa in our household help's quarters sa may garage!! Nabuking nung minsan nakalabas at nagtitilaok siya dun the whole day. When he came out of the room after months of living there, i noticed na maputla na siya siguro because of lack of sunlight. hahaha! Talaga what kids would do to have their favorite pets eh, no? I also remeber one time i found a maya bird chick on the ground, nahulog ata from it's nest!! So, what I did was put it in with my hen who's hatching her eggs. I was totally grossed out when I saw the hen beat the little maya chick into a pulp and swallowed it whole!! Kadiri talaga!! I never touched that hen ever again!! Freaky talaga!! Carnivorous siya!! Anyway, I still get excited whenever i see these roosters and hens!! I guess they will always have a special place in my heart. I love going nga to mga sabungero friends of mine just to look. Nakaka-enjoy kasi eh. Pero now, I only have dogs in the house. Yun lang ang medyo accepted ng mga neighbors ko. I wish someday, I can have a farm and take care of different animals in it!! Lately, and I hope none of my neighbors are reading this, I snuck in a small Kambing into my home. Ang cute eh!! hahahaha!

Sir, balita ko nga bawal talaga sa loob ng Dasma Village ang manok siguro kasi most of the owners dyan eh may malalaking hectares of farm for their fighting cocks, cattles and dogs to keep. Pero iba parin ang tilaok ng manok sa umaga compared sa alarm clock

Maaga rin pala kayo na expose sa manok kaya pala...I believe na pag nasa blood mo talaga ang pagkahilig sa manok o dogs or any animals eh maipapasa mo rin ito sa mga siblings mo. Maaga rin po ako na expose sa manok but hindi dahil sa dad ko kundi by just looking at one of the neighbors chickens. I like the aspect of breeding sir applying science second lang talaga is cockfighting minsan nga ayaw ko talaga ipalaban yung ibang alaga ko back in high school kasi takot ako baka di ko na sya makita. Yun na nga marami narin akong hindi na nakita sa kanila

I always wanted to have a gamefowls but I cant seem to get one. A friend of mine wanted to give me one from his winning stocks/breedings. Time doesnt permits me. A always wanted to have a WHITE one and a yellow. I seem to be facinated. Maybe i can take care of one or two. Have any one of you heard of meneses gamefowls? (owner of cherifer) He has some awesome fowls.

if it's tiny meneses you're referring to then he really have awesome gamefowls. if i remember it right he has his own breed of lemon which is called "one minute" lemon. i think he got that name because his lemons can kill in less than a minute. talk about awesome!
